While we were staying with my friend in Germany, we took a day trip to Salzburg, Austria. I have to say that Salzburg is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is a beautiful old town nestled among the mountains with a gigantic fortress on a peak. Picturesque is an understatement.
The train ride was about an hour and that in itself was beautiful! Here are all four of us headed to Salzburg.

Austria is known for their desserts. We ordered 4 and shared! They are so different from American sweets because they aren’t really sweet.
Our next stop on the trip is Venice, Italy!! We were both looking forward to Italy the most and it did not disappoint.
