The bride shared with us: “Tim and I met in the summer of 2006 in Paphos, Cyprus when we were both on holiday with our friends – we had a holiday romance! Tim and I finally got engaged 10 years after we first met, when we were on holiday in Mexico a few days before we were due to fly home! We had taken a sun set Catamaran trip from our hotel and as we were standing having a photo taken, Tim got down on one knee and proposed!”

“Tim and I met in Paphos, Cyprus 12 years previously when we were on holiday with our friends. We thought it would be a lovely idea to go back and get married in the place we first met.”

“I wanted a Chic, Rustic wedding with lots of white and greenery. The wedding took place outside and this style fitted very well with the feel of Liopetro and the vibe of the venue.”

“I always knew I would love to have a Grace Loves Lace wedding dress, all their dresses were very ‘me’ and I knew they were different to anything else I had seen. I tried other dresses, but nothing came close to the look I wanted. I tried many Grace Loves Lace dresses and the dress I finally chose was ‘Eddie’ – it was my Wild Card try on. I did not think I would choose it over some of the others but when I tried it on it was just perfect! I loved the tassels at the bottom and the high neck with the low back was my favorite feature of the dress.”

“We had a wonderful Welcome to our wedding’ sign that was displayed on an easel as people went to take their seats. Our table centres were greenery with fairy lights and rose gold candles, the table place names were cut out of wood and placed on white napkins. On the trees we have glass baubles hanging with flowers on them as well as love hearts hanging. By the cocktail tables we set up a table with sweet jars, a wooden light up ‘LOVE’ sign and a big wooden puzzle for our guests to sign their names on. Lastly for the evening we used the arch with the white curtains and greenery to hang our specially designed selfie frame.”

“I planned all of the décor myself and had lots of extra luggage when we flew out to Cyprus! We went with a rustic but elegant theme. We had greenery on white curtains that we got married under with beautiful lanterns all the way down the aisle and path. I designed and made the order of the day hand fans to keep everyone cool and also had little brown bags of pink and white petal confetti for our guests to throw as we walked back up the aisle.”

“There were so many good moments of our wedding it’s too difficult to name one! It was amazing walking down the aisle and marrying Tim (although I was very nervous!) and also having all our family and friends there to watch us get married. We also loved the dancing and party! Everyone was up dancing and having a great time!”

Advice to a bride-to-be: “Don’t worry too much about all the extra things – as long as there is lots of food and drinks everyone will have fun! Also relax and take everything in as the day goes so quickly! Finally, we were so happy we choose our photographer and videographer as we now have an amazing wedding video and great photos – it’s well worth spending the money on this and should be at the top of everyone’s list!”
