Zynga, the creator of addictive desktop social games like FarmVille, MafiaWars has decided to make the jump to mobile platform with an endless-runner titled, ’Running With Friends’.
From the looks of it, ’Running With Friends’ is more like a cute and funny version of the Temple Run. If you’ve already played Temple Run, you would know that after passing few miles, things get a little bit scarier with those creepy things coming after you in that game. Running With Friends doesn’t have those scary creatures crawling behind your back. Instead there are some bulls coming after you. You just have to make your way in a 3D environment, avoiding obstacles, collecting points and riding bulls. As VentureBeat points out, it’s more like a “cartoon version of the Running of the Bulls festival in Pamplona, Spain”.
However, this game have few improvements, including the ability to challenge your friends, making the game more social than Temple Run. Running With Friends is now available free for iPhone on Apple apps store. Still no word on an Android version though.
