It seems like Marvel Studio’s are gearing up to find their Captain Marvel. According to HeroicHollywood claims “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” star Rebecca Ferguson is currently at the top of Marvel Studios’ list to play Captain Marvel in the character’s solo film.
According to the report it is unclear if Marvel are in talks with Rebecca or if an offer has been made. Written by Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve, “Captain Marvel” is a story that follows Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who gets energy absorption and flight powers following an accident that infuses her DNA with an alien DNA. This will be Marvel Studio’s’ first female led film. The movie is slated for November 2, 2018.
