When did it become acceptable to waste each other’s time with meaningless phrases like, “It is what it is”? What is like what is? In what context does that statement make any sense whatsoever? Actually, I guess the statement itself does make sense. A little too much sense. Of course it is what it is. What else could it be? It can’t be what it isn’t. That would be impossible. “It” has to equal “it” per the Reflexive Property of Mathematics…er something.
