Rubblebucket have done nothing but vigorously prevail despite challenges over the past few years, and now the Brooklyn-based troupe is back with their third full-length/first album on Communion Records, produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Angel Olsen, David Byrne, Cloud Nothings, and others). Survival Sounds’ first single, “Sound of Erasing”, is a concentrate of why they’re so entrancing, as it’s full of a conglomeration of diverse sounds that melt into one irregularly shaped mass of awesome.
