Speaking of doing something different, huh? Honey blonde, ombre hair for someone who adores jet black hair. Let’s just say I was a bit skeptical. But I’m loving this ombre wig from RPGShow. It’s that lil “umph” I had been looking for.
hey, i’m whimpy too!
I purchased this unit and, out of fear, I waited almost 3 days before actually putting it on. What can I say? Although I’m adventurous with new beauty and fashion items most times. . .sometimes I can be a bit of a whimp. Especially since I’d never gone so bold before. I also never invested in a full lace, human hair wig before. So there are a ton of firsts going on here… Here’s to #BeingAdventurous
ready 4 some ombre swag?
This unit has an ombre swag to it. There’s honey blonde tresses in the crown area and black everywhere else. The colored areas of the wig was a bit course compared to the non-colored areas. I guess that’s normal. Since that happens when you dye your hair anyway. The unit is 22 inches long. But since it’s curly it appears between 18 and 20 inches long.
How I styled it: When I received the unit it had several ringlet curls going on. I used a paddle brush (which also came with the wig) and brushed them out until they became a looser curl see video below. Hmmm, I’m laughing to myself. I can’t help but sing “Comb through your curls. . .Curl through them like you just don’t care!”
my first wig-vestment. . .
I paid around $400 for the unit. I know! Spend much?!?! It was a first time thing for me. I really like the wig but I don’t see myself investing in another full, human hair lace front wig for some time. I’ll stick with cheaper alternatives. Especially since I only wear them on the weekends and special occasions.
