This is a well said quote, isn't it? Roses are gorgeous and timeless beauties. To date I can't pinpoint a particular rose or even the color of a rose that I like most. They are all so pretty!

Roses however are not an easy plant to cultivate especially in our tropical climate that is always humid and hot. 

Recently I visited the beautiful rose garden of Rohani Bujang, head of the Honey Bee Rose Club. I saw many thriving roses! All the roses were planted using the organic way.

What I found most interesting was that the soil mix she used i.e. one part compost and another part a blend of the following ingredients (all or part of): perlite, burnt soil, sand, rice hull, black soil and coconut husk.
