About

We’re in full-on Psych Rock mode here at The Wild Honey Pie. In our latest Buzzsession, Rose Windows gives us just what we needs: “Fix Me Another One,” with lyrics like Jimi Hendrix and a voice just like Grace Slick — in the early days with Jefferson Airplane — this track begins with a smooth, dosed feel, but don’t be surprised when this six-piece rock band opens up the valves. In classic
form, they leave us hanging on a single word and a chord following a soft outro reflective of their dosed intro. “There is a Light” carries more of their alt-rock sound, but in no way lacks complexity. This session was filmed at one of our all-time favorite studios in Brooklyn, Douglass Street Records owned and operated by the brilliant (and handsome) Myles Rodenhouse.

‘Buzzsessions’ is an original series of live music videos produced by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we capture footage of our favorite bands as they record alternate studio-quality versions of their songs.
