I was surprised by a very exciting parcel on my doorstep the other day from the Benebabes at Benefit Cosmetics. They sent me a bright pink vanity case with some eye products, a pink heart shaped mirror, a personalised sleeping mask and the latest copy of Elle Magazine - with the addition of a mini sample of their newest to-be release, Roller Lash.

I've been looking forward to trying this mascara since I first saw the mentions of it on twitter, and the amazing reviews got me even more excited. Lucky for us, ELLE Magazine is offering it as a free gift this month for those who want to try it before the launch. Copies are going fast, so make sure to pick yourself up one as soon as possible if you see one with Keira Knightley on the cover - it's not a deal you want to miss out on!
I've been trialling it for a couple of days, seeing if it lived up to its title of game changer, and here's what I have to report back:

First things first, I'm very impressed - it's great at holding a curl, one of the main things that I look for in a mascara, and gives a nice amount of volume and length too. The brush is specially designed with a 'hook and roll' system, a bit like old school velcro hair rollers to curl your lanes without the need for hear or curlers.Whilst premise is that it should me we never to use a curler again, and therefore our eyelashes should be better treated and whilst it does give a nice curl, I think the mixture of both together is where the magic happens - sorry lashes!
Overall, a nice mascara and a good addition to the stash but possibly not my holy grail. I'd recommend you all to pick up a copy of the latest ELLE (£4) to try it out though, as you never know, you may love it! Plus, there's always the magazine to read if you don't!
What do you think of this?
Benefit's Roller Lash is launching in March 2015 and will be retailing at £19.50.
