Perth's newest ice creamery store is up and running and has made its home in South Fremantle. The best part is being vegan (and gluten free!); taste is not compromised so it's guaranteed to satisfy everyone's tastebuds.
Using coconut and cashews as the base for the ice cream, six unique flavours have been created for you to enjoy; Salted Maple Peanut, Apple Pie, Raspberry Cardamom, Lemon Cheesecake, Hazelnut Chocolate Brownie and Coconut Vanilla.
The delightful Georgina is owner and operator of Roho Bure and came about the idea when she struggled to find places that served vegan desserts. With the idea over twelve months in the making, Georgina and her partner decided the perfect location was literally under their feet, and converted their garage into the luxe premises that it is today.
With an eye for detail, Georgina has created a cosy little abode for people to enjoy their sweet treats. The lighting and décor provide a warm and inviting space to stay and linger if you wish or the option is there to take away.
The flavours on offer at Roho Bure are to die for with my personal favourites being the Apple Pie with its subtle undertones of cinnamon and nutmeg and the Lemon Cheesecake which literally tastes like cheesecake mix, drool factor at an all time 10. My son on the other hand took a liking to the Raspberry and Cardamom, wolfing it down in minutes (I was allowed only a small taste - will have to head back to have my own cone!)
As well as serving up gorgeous vegan ice cream, Roho Bure will also have shakes and cakes available. There's no need to wait until the weather warms up, now is the perfect time for ice cream.
