Rocky Mountains – a vast range to explore adventure

The Rocky Mountains, generally known as the Rockies, are a dominant mountain range in North America. The Rocky Mountains sweep more than 3,000 miles (4800 kms.) from the northernmost region of British Columbia, in western Canada, to New Mexico, in the southwestern United States. Inwards the North American Cordillera, the Rockies are considerably different from the Pacific bank territory and the Cascade territory and the Sierra Nevada which all lies farther to the west.
Presently, much of the mountain territory is shield by public parks and dense forest lands, and is a most favored tourist harbor, exclusively for hiking, camping, mountaineering, fishing, and hunting, mountain biking, skiing, and snowboarding. The Rockies Mountains seems to be the first choice of every tourist wishing to experience different adventurous sports. Trekking is the most common adventure sport preferred by the many locals as well as the international tourists in the rocky mountain ranges.
