Rocket & the Ghost Played Cameo [photos]

Saturday night, I made my way to Cameo in Williamsburg to catch sets from Seasick Mama and Rocket & the Ghost. The former, who opened the night, was singing and dancing like nothing I’ve seen before, giving the show an impressively energetic feel. Rocket & the Ghost came up next to close the night.  If you haven’t had a chance to see this band, do yourself a favor and check out their next show. Kiyoshi Matsuyama controls the stage and crowd with powerful vocals, and the whole set is catchy and fun — dance party included.
