Story: Rob Peace starts when Skeet Douglas (Ejiofor) is wrongfully convicted of murder. His son Rob (Will) decides to dedicate his life to getting him out of prison. However, his mother Jackie (Blige) refuses to let Rob give up his promising future.
Rob has a bright future when he gets his education, but his desire to free his father consumes him. He dedicates every opportunity to finding a new way to give him a fair appeal.

The movie follows a young boy who sees his father locked up for a crime he never committed. He decides to spend his life trying to clear his name and prove his father never committed the crime. However, his mother and friends question his decision to give up his bright future.
Best Parts
The story of clearing a loved one’s name is a big motivating reason behind Rob’s determination. It shows how important this is and how many boundaries he must overcome to make it happen. The performances are strong throughout the movie too.
Worst Parts
The movie struggles with the criminal side of the case and doesn’t do enough to offer up a fair trial. It mostly shows the complicated case that wanted things done quickly, rather than fairly.
Final Thoughts –Rob Peace presents an interesting case of clearing a name.
