The rumors are true, Rihanna plans to launch a fashion line. So RIP to our collective bank accounts. The luxury brand will feature men's and women's ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, etc. It will be backed by LVMH.
LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE) is a multinational luxury goods conglomerate. Some of the brands under its umbrella (outside of those already in the name) include Celine, Givenchy, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, and Veuve Clicquot. So, it is safe to say that Rihanna will be in good company.
In case you missed it, Rihanna already has a highly successful beauty line, Fenty Beauty, as well as her lingerie line, Savage x Fenty, that debuted at New York Fashion week in September 2018. With countless collaborations under her belt and an obvious eye for style, this was the clear next step.
