Yeah y’all read it right. RihRih has scored her 14th number 1 hit on Billboard Hot 100, with her latest song “Work,” which features rapper Drake. This week the song sold 119k. This number 1 is an epic milestone for Rihanna.
Work has allowed Rihanna to become the third all-time on the list of artists with the most Hot 100 No. 1s. “Work” helped her trump Michael Jackson’s 13 and now, only Mariah Carey (18) and The Beatles (20) stand before her. with the song’s official video released today, any gains from the clip’s arrival will be reflected on next week’s Hot 100, to be released next Monday (Feb. 29). Rihanna earns her second Streaming Songs No. 1 (following her featured turn on Eminem’s “The Monster,” which led the Jan. 4, 2014 list), while Drake celebrates his first Streaming Songs leader.Work makes Drake’s second number 1 hit on Billboard’s Hot 100.
