Apologies for a technical glitch that caused a duplicate posting of the “Finishing the Pop Culture Pin Trading Co. Jigidi puzzles” post from December 24th of last year. If you received an email notification about this post earlier today, again I apologize. I have deleted the duplicate, the original is still there.

Today we have the first exhibit for 2019, and the last of Larry Tremblay‘s guest exhibits of Electric Tiki Design Teeny Weeny Mini-maquettes.

This last figurine is an Artist Proof of the Richie Rich mini-maquette that started this story arc back in June of last year.

I could not see any difference between the Artist Proof for the Little Lotta figurine and the production model as depicted on the box, could you? But Richie right off I see that the oblong oval on his chest is painted on this Artist Proof, and it was just white like the rest of his shirt on the production model I have. It is still there though, they did not change the “sculpt” or mold when they changed the paint scheme. Details like this fascinate me, I hope you find them interesting as well!

Thanks again to Larry for taking the time to take photos of all these wonderful figurines! Please, in 2019, if any of you can contribute anything to the Harvey Mercheum, please use the Contact the Curator form to let me know!
