RFRA, Riff Raff

"Religious Freedom Restoration Act": the title alone, with the intimation that religious freedom has been rescinded and therefore has to be "restored," arouses suspicion.  The false advertising is needed to divert attention from what?  The answers to the questions that Indiana's governor couldn't, or wouldn't, answer when George Stephanopoulos put them to him?

It seems that the Christian-friendly and business-friendly cohorts of the Republican party don't talk to one another until it's too late.  A Christianist proponent of RFRA chortles that now he won't have to sell to funny boys.  The governor, asked whether that's true, can't say.  The chamber of commerce types, taking it all in, conclude that it's a bad idea--not because they hate injustice but because they love money.  My country tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing!
