Just think of all the classic albums released in 1995, and compare that to the amount of classic albums that have been released over the last decade or so. It was popular music's greatest ever era, in terms of diversity, quality and in terms of bands becoming famous because they deserved the success. One album that turns 20 this year is Radiohead's second studio LP 'The Bends', which proved that there was more to them than just 'Creep'. Released in March 1995, the album ended up going triple platinum in the UK, and in the years since its release, has frequently appeared in listener polls and critics' lists of best albums of all time.
