The weekend is here, and so is the traditional RW/FF Friday Banger. This one is a track that entered the UK singles charts exactly 20 years ago this week on February 11, 1995. 'Yé ké yé ké' was a 1987 hit song by the Guinean singer Mory Kante, which was notable for being the very first African single to shift over a million copies. Retitled 'Yeke Yeke', and reworked by German techno duo Hardfloor (Oliver Bondzio and Ramon Zenker) this version of the track reached number 25 on its 1995 release.
