Revlon Favourites.
I haven’t had lot of exposure to Revlon before, but over the last couple of months I’ve built myself up a little collection of their products and I thought I would show you the best of the lot. They are a drugstore brand, but in my mind, the quality of the packaging and products, makes them almost quasi-high-end, and a lot more luxurious than your average drugstore product. Luckily for me, the prices don’t reflect that at all!
My first pick has to be the Nearly Naked, which if you’ve been reading this blog for a little time; you should know my love for. A light coverage, satin/dewy finish foundation this became my go-to for everyday as soon as I bought it, and has only just found a competitor in the form of the Clarins True Radiance foundation. It’s a mental battle everyday to decide which one to go for #beautybloggerprobs The only problem – no pump – why must brands continue to do this to us? Although I am a massive fan of the luxurious glass bottle and minimalistic product design.
Then come the lip products, the area where I feel Revlon really excel itself. The Revlon Lip Butter is an everyday pick for me, a creamy glossy and slightly sheer formula these are great for slapping on when you want a bit of easy maintenance color – my favorite is Tutti Frutti. The quilted bullet is such a cute design, and I love that you can easily pick out the color that you want. Plus, they’re a dupe of the ever-so-lovely YSL Rouge Volupte Shines – do I need to give any more reasons to get one? Another one that gets cracked out on a regular basis is the Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cognito, a true MLBB shade which is good to pull a look together. Again, the formula is on point, long-lasting and creamy and I’m definitely looking to add a few more to my collection from this range.
Last but not least, the Matte Balm Stick in Complex – my favorite summer color. I won’t lie, it’s gone out of my rotation a little because I feel like it suits a tanned complexion a lot more, but it’s a gorgeous caramel pink nude that I think would work really well with a darker eye to tune it down a little bit. The stick form makes it a dream to apply precisely and it’s another one that I’m looking to add more of to my collection.
So, those are my Revlon favourites at the moment, what are yours?
