Review:A Merry Montessori Christmas

By Smilinglikesunshine @smilinglikesuns
My friend Aubrey who blogs over at Montessori Mischief  has just launched her e-book: A Merry Montessori Christmas.
Aubrey is a Montessori teacher and a mother to two children. She has got a lot of experience both in the classroom and at home as a mother. I think her book reflects this beautifully.
The book is clearly laid out with items that can be easily found at home at this time of the year. Even if you don't have some of the materials, they are widely available in dollar/pound stores.
The book contains Practical Life, Maths and Literacy activities for 2-6 year olds.
What I like most about the book is that it is a good resource for homeschooling mothers or anyone who is working with children but who are not Montessori trained. Aubrey gives very important tips about how to present Montessori activities. For each activity, she shares some information about why that particular activity is a Montessori activity.
Therefore I think this book is not just for Christmas. It contains valuable information as well as beautiful activities.
The book is on sale for $4.99.
