The Tropicana range is currently half price in Tesco and it seemed a good opportunity to try out their Fruit & Veg Mango, Passionfruit & Pumpkin juice. Whilst this is not particularly new, I always start to look out for any pumpkin themed products at this time of year. I think it's the influence of all the American snack blogs that are full of pumpkin spice flavor at the moment!

The good thing about this Tropicana juice is that, unlike a similar Innocent juice I reviewed, this one actually contains some pumpkin. The ingredients are; Apple (64%), Pumpkin (10%), Carrot, Mango (8%), Orange, Passionfruit (3%). The juice itself is not too thick, it's somewhere between a regular juice and a smoothie. It has an initially sweet, tropical type flavour, with the orange and mango coming through strongly. This then gives way to a tart edge (which is not too sour), followed by the more earthy flavor of the pumpkin and carrot. Personally I don't think the pumpkin is too strong here but you can definitely taste that this is a part-vegetable juice. I enjoyed this fruit and vegetable combination and I would certainly buy this juice again.Grocery Gems Review: Tropicana Essentials Fruit & Veg
