The Body Shop Vanilla Body Mist.
Ingredients:
Price: INR645 for 100ml.
Available at The Body Shop outlets and a few online stores.
My experience:
I got this body mist recently from Purplle.com. It was a totally random purchase. Purplle was selling the mists with the old prices and so I thought I should definitely get hold of one of these beauties:)
I was quite apprehensive till I got my order about the expiry of the product, but I guess since it’s just a spray, the expiry doesn’t matter, or does it?
But my doubts were of no use as the mist I got was well within safe use
Moving on to the review now.
The body shop’s body mists come in a variety of flavours, like strawberry, shea, Satsuma, coconut etc. I am a big fan of all things vanilla and so I got this one even though it’s a little heavy scent for summers!
The body mist comes in a glass bottle which is definitely NOT travel-friendly. I am very scared of breaking it every time I use it. I wish it came in a plastic bottle. But anyway, the bottle does look classy.
The bottle has a spray which sprays out the mist evenly. The mist itself is a cream coloured liquid.
Talking about the scent, Vanilla, it’s the same as the other vanilla products from TBS, like the body butter. It smells truly of vanilla and maybe a little bit musk-ish. But it’s a fantastic smell and absolutely perfect for winters, I love it in summers too though
I find the staying power of the mist quite decent. I can still get a whiff of the scent on myself after a good 4 hours.
I definitely want to try Strawberry/Satsuma next
Overall, The Body Shop’s vanilla body mist is a winner for me If you like vanilla scents, this is a must try
Why you’ll like it:
1) Attractive packaging.
2) Heavenly vanilla scent.
3) Decent staying power.
Why you’ll dislike it:
1) Glass packaging prone to breakage.
To buy or not to buy?
Definitely buy if you like a scent out of all the variants:)
