My experience:
I received this lip gloss as a part of a gift kit from Lotus Herbals that I showed here. The lip gloss comes in 10 shades, I have the shade Peach Pink. I’m absolutely in love with this lip gloss ever since I got it and I might just finish a lip gloss for once
The lip gloss comes in a kindof bulky transparent plastic tube. Although it is bulky, it’s very light in weight and also looks quite classy! The steel mirror finish cap adds to the attractive packaging. It has an expensive feel to it and for the price it looks amazing
It has a doe foot applicator which picks up enough amount of product and applies the gloss very smoothly.
The texture of the lip gloss is on the thicker side! It’s also very creamy and slightly sticky. The creaminess makes the gloss literally glide on the lips. It stays for about 2-3 hours on my lips easily without eating anything in between. I don’t find this lip gloss as sticky as some of the other glosses I’ve used and yet it stays for a decent amount of time on lips, which is an amazing thing really! The gloss is not at all transfer proof.
The gloss has a slight plastic-y fragrance that I really dislike
The shade, Peach Pink is a gorgeous Peach Pink. Lol. No seriously it’s exactly what the name says. It is majorly peach with strong pink undertones. There is microshimmer in this shade but it doesn’t translate on the lips as the glitter or anything OTT. In fact the shimmer is so fine in this shade that it gives a very nice shine and makes lips look plump. For thin lipped girls like me, this gives a gorgeous effect! The shade is perfect for all skin tones. It’s not something that can wash out any skin tone at all! I’m in love with this shade
This gloss almost feels like a liquid lipstick to me. It goes on smoothly on the lips and in 1-2 coats gives medium coverage. I‘ve swatched other shades of this gloss at the store and I feel that the darker shades are more pigmented than this one. The darker shades give almost opaque coverage in 1-2 coats! Please note this particular shade won’t cover pigmented lips fully.
This lip gloss is perfect for daily wear with its amazing formula. It keeps lips very comfortable and it’s actually quite nourishing true to its claims. Obviously it won’t heal lips but it doesn’t dry them out further and keeps lips feeling healthy. Also, it doesn’t enhance dry or chapped lips at all!!! It doesn’t settle into the lines or cracks in lips. It kindof just coats them and makes lips look pretty anyway!
I’m planning to purchase the shade “Nude Love” from the range next!
Overall, it’s a fantastic lip gloss for its price. It’s smooth and creamy, doesn’t accentuate dryness and even moisturizes lips to an extent. It has good pigmentation and decent staying power. I highly recommend this to everyone
