Lately I've realised the importance of using an eye cream, so I made a little impulse buy and I picked this one up and the benefits are great! I'm a big fan of Simple products and I know that they are kind to my skin, so I had good expectations for this product.
Although this is an eye moisturiser, and is slightly lighter than a normal moisturiser, the consistency is exactly the same as a normal moisturiser. It sinks into my skin almost instantly leaving it feeling nourished and hydrated.
It really helps to brighten the appearance of my eyes and is slowly reducing the horrendous dark circles that I have. I can definitely see benefits as well as feel them as my eyes don't feel as tight and dry anymore. The skin around them feels much more healthy and nourished.
The packaging is very compact, its a small tube with a pointed end which makes it easy to apply, and prevents you from using too much. In order to apply this product, I apply a tiny blob to my ring finger and warm it between my 2 ring fingers. I then apply 3 dots to my brow bone, and 3 dots to the bone just below my eye and sweep around. I try and avoid doing too much rubbing around my eyes as the skin is very delicate, so I let gravity absorb the product.
The only thing that I have to fault about this product, and all Simple moisturisers for that matter is the scent, its not very appealing at all, but as I have sensitive skin - especially around my eyes, I shouldn't really complain.
