I’ve been using my Lululemon Bliss Bag for about 8 days. I thought it was time to write a review. My daughter gave it to me for Mother’s Day. Doesn’t she have good style?!
The Lululemon Bliss Bag is $128. You can view it here. I think these bags are pricey. Are they worth it? Yes. I am famous for getting rid of my purses and bags every other week because I find something else I like just a little more. With the Lululemon workout bags, this is a different story. You are not going to find a better functioning line of workout bags. They have separate bags you can place your dirty workout clothes or shoes in so the rest of your items don’t get all dirty. They have room for a yoga mat, which I don’t really use right now, but I still love the bags. Still not sure? Ok. I’ll continue. My Review of the Lululemon Bliss Bag
Here is a video that quickly shows the highlights of the Bliss Bag straight from the Lululemon website.
Overall, I think the Bliss Bag is a well-made quality bag. The color is amazing. It is the perfect bag for the yoga enthusiast; with a drawstring function that covers the entire yoga mat while it is in your bag, keeping it put and keeping it protected. Not many gym bags can do that.
I love that is has five different carrying options, I think that is one of the most difficult things associated with a bag or purse. Some people like carrying their bags super close to them by using only the shorter straps. Others, like me, prefer to carry their bag cross body style or over one shoulder with a long strap. There are two exterior pockets that can be cinched to protect the items inside. The inside of the bag has a removable interior bag that allows you to keep your shoes or dirty clothing separate from he remaining contents. Could I live without this bag? Possibly, but I think I am kind of biased because the first bag I purchased from Lululemon was the Flow & Go Tote and that works so great for me because I am into items in my wardrobe that multitask. I think the Bliss bag is purely for workout or play. The Flow & Go Tote can be for work, workout or play and I adore giant bags. Who knows why! They probably make me look smaller in comparison…
If you are torn between the Flow & Go Tote or the Bliss Bag, I personally would vote for the Flow & Go Tote. Why?
- It’s giant, which works for me
- Looks more like a tote bag, obviously, and functions as such. It has a long adjustable strap which I use to wear cross body style and two small handles for when I want to just grab it and go.
- Hard side exterior zippered pocket for me to put a laptop or iPad into safely
- Perfect for travel
