Review of the Dirty Works Coconut Scrub and Body Butter

By Sparklingker @sparklingker

Happy Sunday everyone! A few weeks ago, I received a package containing a couple of Dirty Works products. I’ve been using these products twice a week for the last couple of weeks and thought it’s time to write a review of the Dirty Works Coconut Scrub and Body Butter!

The first time I flicked opened the scrub cap and took a whiff of it, it smelt so darn good and still do to this day. The coconut scrub is made with pecan shell granules and almond oil to help moisturise the skin. I used about a 50c coin size of product per leg and scrubbed in circular motion. You can feel the granules against the skin but it’s not overly harsh. While using this scrub my arms and legs felt very smooth and soft afterwards. This product is very reasonably priced at $7.95. If you are looking for an everyday type scrub then this is worth looking into.

The body butter also smells absolutely incredible and leaves your skin feeling wonderful. The scent lingers for a little while which is a bonus. The body butter comes in pretty big 300ml container with a low price of $7.95. A tub will lasts a while as you don’t need to use a lot of product. It absorbs quite quickly into the skin and does not leave your skin feeling sticky or greasy.

One thing I really liked about Dirty Works is the quirky packaging. A few bloggers have said that the packaging is very similar to Soap & Glory which I agree with. I can’t compare the two products as I’ve never tried Soap & Glory. Both the scrub and body butter are amazing and really affordable products. Oh, another thing I liked about Dirty Works is that they are available at Coles supermarket so they are considered as ‘groceries’.

Have you tried Dirty Works Coconut Scrub and Body Butter and what did you think?

Products were provided for consideration. This has not influenced my opinion in anyway.
