Want to protect your baby from the sun, bugs, wind, and chill while in the stroller? SnoozeShade is designed to do just that, while also helping your baby to sleep in the stroller.
I received a SnoozeShade Plus to review. The SnoozeShade Plus is a cover that fits over any single stroller with a hood or canopy, and it's designed to keep light and/or bugs from bothering your little one as he or she sleeps in the stroller. Also, this 'plus' edition has a lookout panel that when open gives the baby some shade as he or she enjoys the view!
Features:
- UPF 50+
- Universal Fit
- Breathable
- Sneak-a-peek front zip
- 2-in-1 blackout blind and full sunshade
I used the SnoozeShade Plus on my Baby Trend Sport single stroller. When it's taken out of the packaging, the SnoozeShade is kept in a mesh bag so that when you're done with it, it can be stored and carried quite easily. It's a very light piece of fabric; you wouldn't think at first that it could do much of anything! It's light, though, so that it allows air to flow through to the baby without disturbing him or her as they sleep.
I was afraid at first that it wouldn't fit right on my stroller as it wasn't one of the larger jogger strollers pictured on the packaging, but when all of the straps were attached and adjusted, it fit great, covering my baby boy who was sleeping on our trip to the park. The only part that didn't line up was the sneak-a-peek zipper located at the top (designed to allow you to see your baby without disturbing him or her). It wasn't a big deal though, since I could see the baby through the back of the stroller when the seat was reclined.
This is my Baby Trend Sport Stroller.
The SnoozeShade Plus met all my expectations. It gave my son the chance to take his nap while his brother and sister ran around the park for a while (something they really appreciated!). He was kept in shade while also protected from the sun, which is important since at his young age of just 3.5 months, he isn't supposed to use too much sunscreen. I've used the SnoozeShade Plus quite a few times now, including on my recent weekend lakeside getaway, where it was very breezy. The breeze didn't bother the baby one bit!
