I was actually a Max Factor virgin until last week when I picked this little gem up from Superdrug- they were selling them for £4.99 and with my NUS discount on top, I thought it was a pretty decent price for the range.
Shade 01 is a blue toned pink that is very pigmented and the sturdy, thick pen nib allows for precise application. It's of a watery consistency but dries quite fast, however it still gives the lips a moisturised appearance. My only problem is that the color wore off quite quickly (I have the same problem with Benefit tints, is it just me?) but it didn't look horrendous when it did wear off - I was worried it might have gone patchy due to the consistency.
Overall I am impressed with the product and would buy it again. It's a handbag friendly size and on a night out, I only had to reapply it the once. The color is rich and application is easy, even if I got some weird looks in the club toilet when I started drawing on my lips, haha.
