A couple of fun new Halloween themed products to the Walkers range, that also signal a welcome return of two previously available flavours. The Monster Munch Webs are Bacon flavoured and the Wotsits Zombie Fingers are Flamin' Hot flavor.
The Monster Munch Webs actually look virtually identical to the bacon flavoured Wotsits Wafflers I previously reviewed (does one line count as a review?). There's only 74 calories per pack of Monster Munch Webs which can probably be explained by the fact that there are so few crisps in the 14.9g(!) packet - literally only about 5 webs and a few smaller pieces. It's a shame because they're really quite tasty. The salty bacon flavor is partiularly well suited to this type of puffed corn snack and is very moreish.
The Wotsits Zombie Fingers are also a recycling of a previous Wotsit creation. I don't remember ever trying the Wotsits Flamin Hot variety the first time around, but I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty these are. The flavor is a lot nicer than regular Wotsits, which I'm not really a fan of (too stinky!). They're only mildly hot and are quite sweet really, but without any of the cheesiness of the original flavor. Younger children may find them too hot as they do have a slight burn in the aftertaste. The whole thing was more satisfying than the Monster Munch Webs, reflected in the fact that the packets are slightly fuller at 17.5g.
Overall these are both fun products and I especially enjoyed the Halloween theming.
