For halloween I was looking for a dark lipstick, a purple-red toned color. That is when i spied this beauty. It is Collection Gothic Glam Lipstick in 'Scorned' (2)

The packaging on this lipstick is so good, it makes it look more expensive which is always a good thing. I love the black with gold detailing.
I love the little extra gold detailing on the top just to add that little something else.
The color is a deep purple with a red undertone coming through. As much as I loved the color for halloween I am unsure if I could pull it off as a day look! maybe on a night out one day i might use it and maybe mix it with a pink gloss so it is not quite so dark.
I have one criticism about the lipstick in that it is quite dry, it could do with a bit more moisture so not to dry out my lips especially when it is cold outside. the liipstick looks moist on your lips because of its shine, but ii is drying on the lips. 
Here is me wearing the lipstick, a thin layer however i did thicken it to the deep purple before we headed out.Laura x
