Great romatic comedy
I love a good "friends to lovers story", which is why I HAD to read Being Brooke.
The first kiss between Cain and Brooke was so emotional, I loved what Emma Hart did with that scene, it felt so real and romantic! Cain had everything I like in a beta hero, he was loyal, fun, and very supportive of Brooke. The sexual tension was well written, but I wanted more sexy times!
Brooke was over the top at times, I thought to myself "how could someone stand her?". She had a temper and was definitely not an easy woman to be around, and while that made her flawed, this could also made her seem unrealistic or like a caricature.
I couldn't put it down. Being Brooke was a fun and highly entertaining new adult romance.
