Report: Steelers to host RB LeGarrette Blount

Former New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount is scheduled to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, reports Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun.
The Steelers recently hosted Jacksonville Jaguars free agent running back Maurice Jones-Drew, but didn’t immediately reach a deal.
Blount, who the Patriots remain interested in re-signing, rushed for 772 yards and seven touchdowns last season. In the regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills, Blount rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries.
He also rushed for 166 yards and four touchdowns on 24 carries in a playoff victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
If signed, Blount would backup second-year pro Le’Veon Bell, who is coming off a 860 yard and eight touchdown rookie season.
