Shane Koyczan can do something with his voice that is a rarity among men. The grasp he has on the English language, his articulate voice, his somber message delivery turning into anger and then preaching; these are experiences rather than songs.
Remember How We Forgot says a lot. Take several minutes and listen to every word. Think about it. Cry a little. Just take the time to think about something other than the immediate problems and issues of your life.
Call me a hipster but poetry in music has been, still is and will always be beautiful.
