Relaxation

If you darlings follow me on Twitter, you all know that on Friday was my 35th birthday, and was also the start to my week long vacation from work. You have no idea how excited I was for this week to come. I have been so stressed out at work, and this week came long over due. The hubby and I didn't really have any plans to go anywhere, just hang out at home and do whatever we wanted. My mom, the lovely woman that she is, offered to take care of Arianna for the week while hubby and I spend alone time for the week. My mom adores Arianna and since we moved to the new house, she hardly gets to spend time with her as much as she use to. Of course I asked Ari if she wanted to go to "Lella's" ( that's what she calls her, she couldn't say Abuela when she was little so Lella it is). LOL. She was thrilled and of course said yes, because she misses her Lella very much.
So hubby and I have been kid free and work free for the weekend so far. And to date so far we have done absolutely NOTHING! Ha! & I love it! It's nice to just wake up whenever you want, not have to worry about alarm clocks. This week, we will probably go to St. Augustine eat lunch, stroll the old streets, maybe go to Atlanta, who knows, we are just living for the day.
Over the weekend, I enjoyed the fact that I have a gorgeous oasis in my very own backyard. It was 83 degrees and I took advantage. I threw on my bikini and layed out.
It's going to be in the high 80's all week. Boy did we pick the perfect week!
