Round of applause for the return of a beauty post! I’m sure you’re all relieved to see some beauty content in amongst the sad stuff - I know I am! I’ve been trying out loads of makeup recently and can’t wait to share my thoughts on everything. For now though, I’m most impressed by a rediscovery that I have fallen in love with all over again - the Rimmel Match Perfection Liquid Foundation.
If you are a true OG here then you will remember my love for this foundation ‘back in the day’. I even wrote a review on it (have a wee look here for my 2014 review).
My blogging style has definitely changed since 2014, but my thoughts on the foundation haven’t. This foundation wears really well throughout the day, applies nicely (best with a sponge IMO), has a buildable medium coverage and a dewy finish. The best part? You can find it under a fiver on Amazon!
As I said before, I used to wear it all the time (it was a great affordable foundation which has similar qualities to Nars Sheer Glow which is my all time fave foundation!). Over the years I got caught up trying other foundations that I forgot all about it until I was in Superdrug one day and saw it on offer. I’ve been using it since I bought it a month ago and I’m so glad I’ve rediscovered it!
