Red Back Ale – Main Street Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Main Street Brewing in Vancouver comes their "Red Back Ale" an American Amber ale. The beer pours a very deep red colour with an off white head. The aroma consists of fruit, malts and sweetness. The flavour is of fruit, caramel, sweetness, earth and some malts and bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 7% with an IBU of 60. This beer is a tasty example or a red ale or an amber ale. Lots of flavour and some good hops bitterness.

Commercial Description: Our take on the classic American red ale delivers a bite on the pallet, along with southern tropical fruit aromas from being dry hopped with Australian Topaz, Ella and Galaxy hops. At 7% ABV and 60 IBU's it's a well balanced red ale that is easy to get ensnared in.
