Reclining Woman

By Drharrietd @drharrietd

I love it when people send me pictures to put on here. Mostly I seem to go for ninteenth and early twentieth century images, but this was painted in 1993 by Micheal Wildeve, and Ruth, who kindly drew my attention to it, found it here. I know nothing about this artist though I assume he is British as the painting is in  the collection of Central St Martins College of Art in London. It reminds me very much of the paintings of Modigliani, but is none the worse for that.
