Canadian punk band Real Sickies are having fun by being angry on their new album Under a Plastic Bag. While most of it can be labeled as good old fast "one two three four" stuff, they did manage to sneak in quite a bit of weirdness as well for the music geeks to point out in the midst of a crowd dancing the night away with reckless abandon.
Lyrically they are all over the place, with songs about crashing your bike (Taste the Concrete), getting ripped off (No Refunds), but also scouring a creek for fossils (Wild Imagination). Every track could have been released as a single, honouring the old punk adage to come to the point real quick and make it catchy as Hell.
