Real Mom Street Style
So I met a friend in the Piazza of Modena and we brought the kids on the Christmas Train and on the Carousel, two of my favorite things to do in the Centre of Modena. I let my son run around on the steps of the Duomo of Modena and low and behold I spotted this stylish mom.
Actually I had spotted her and her friend earlier at the Carousel but I didn’t think she was a mom (that’s how stylish she is!) but then we started to chat and I found out she’s a mom of two!
Why She Dressed
Her name is Aury and it turns out she dresses for a living! She’s a stylist and fashion blogger for her blog The Suit for Me. Named so because her husband would always ask her for fashion advice while dressing.
On this particular afternoon she was waiting for the right time to go pick up her son from daycare and I happen to catch her while she hung out with a fellow blogging friend. Her friend is Cristina is also a fashion blogger who blogs in Portugese at Não Vou Sair Assim and is currently working on a documentary. Both Aury and her friend are not Italian, they are Brazilian but like me, now call Modena their home.
What she Wore
She worked layers, with a bold grafic statement sweatshirt, yellow collard shirt, and a skinny black studded belt over a gray Svmi-e Coat all paired with rolled boyfriend pants and Francesco Milano shoes.
Later I ran into her again with her family of handsome males.
Anyone else rock a similar look? I love this look on her, I don’t know if I’d be able to pull it off, what about you?
