The Simpsons fans may remember that old episode when Homer Simpson designed his awesome looking dream car. Just like the guy himself, this car also included some weird and crazy stuff. Now folks over at Porcubimmer Motors have created a real-life version of that crazy The Homer car.
“We are Simpsons fans, and we knew that the race organizers had wondered why nobody had ever built the Homer, so we decided that we had to tackle it,” said Kris Linquist.
This was actually made from a 1987 BMW 325e, which the creator Kris Linquist bought for $400. He actually drove this in the recent 24 Hours of LeMons race (not LeMans) in the U.S. where only cars worth below $500 are allowed to race. They came on 5th place.
