I saw some pretty amazing custom-made lightsabers just a few weeks ago. But they are nothing compared to this kickass lightsaber made by the YouTuber styropyro.

According to the info in the YouTube description, this lightsaber gets powered by a badass 3000mW blue laser which “uses the new 9mm 450nm laser diode and runs on two 18650 Li Ion batteries. The housing is a custom machined “Sirius” host.”

It’s low on thickness than the lightsabers in Star Wars but I think this is basically as close as we can get with a homemade lighsaber, so far. This thing seems to have the ability to burn through anything, including ping pong balls, tape, paper and whole lot of tiny things.

Check out the video for the awesome real-life Star Wars burning action.
