Ready to Accept Support : is Bjp Losing the Nerve?

As the different phases of general election 2014 are moving towards the dusk the retorting and roaring Bhartiya Janata Party has come to ally with the other political parties.
It seems evident that the BJP is losing its confidence. The party has started realizing it is not so easy to secure the desired number of seats. On the one hand the party expresses its confidence of winning 300 seats [previously 272+], on the other hand it has started exuding the sweat. The speeches present such picture in the political sphere. Whereas the Trinmool Congress and the Bahujan Samaj Party have categorically denied to tie-up with BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi or National Democratic Alliance (NDA). However, no reaction was received from AIADMK chief J. Jayalalithaa’s side. In case of any alliance, the party says that it does not believe in “political untouchability.
While  BJP’s UP in-charge and Narendra Modi’s close aide Amit Shah, claiming to win over 300 LS seats with NDA partners, said the doors were open for other parties to join hands. In this regard, the question is winning 300 plus seats then what is the need of any alliance. It seems evident that the BJP is losing its confidence. The party has started realizing it is not so easy to secure the desired number of seats.

Whereas TMC chief Mamata Bannerjee categorically denied extending any support to BJP or NDA rather she said if she would have been Delhi had sent Modi to jail. She decried that the Congress was afraid and not has the guts to act against Modi.

“They (Congress) have no guts. It is a party cocooned in fear. They survive through understanding and play got-up matches and indulge in match-fixing. Not a single word against Narendra Modi. It (Congress) is in head over heels in love with Narendra Modi,”

In this context BSP leader Mayawati clearly refused to extend its support either to Modi or NDA at any cost. In a straight forward way the former UP Chief Minister also said that the BJP has realised that it might not be able to form the government.

“BJP leader Narendra Modi in his recent interview had claimed that if needed he might seek support of AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa, TMC’s Mamata Banerjee and BSP national president...I want to make it clear that BSP will not extend any kind of support to NDA at any cost.”
