RBC Royal Bank Ottawa Bluesfest made a huge lineup announcement on Tuesday morning, dropping a full 100 artist lineup for the July 2020 festival.
We already knew the Saints And Sinners Tour was bringing The Headstones, Big Wreck, Moist, and The Tea Party on July 18. We knew that Jack Johnson, Marshmello, Vance Joy, Lil Tecca, and Jade Bird would all be there between July 14 and 16 . AND we knew that Rage Against The Machine would hit Ottawa on July 17 as part of the Public Service Announcement Tour!

Now we know that Blink-182, Boyz II Men, Daniel Caesar, The National, Nelly, Blue Rodeo, and more, more, more will all make their way to Lebreton Flats to play at Bluesfest across 11 days this summer.
We also had a suspicion/idea/hunch confirmed when Alanis Morisette's 2020 World Tour, celebrating 25 years of Jagged Little Pill was added to the lineup as well. It's going to be one hell of a homecoming for Alanis, and we can't even imagine what that atmosphere and energy is going to be like. Dang.
There's still a lot of planning and previewing to do before the music starts to play (we'll have lots). We can tell you right now though that we're hyped to see supporting Canadian talents like , Jessica Mitchell , Ali Gatie, Haviah Mighty, Crown Lands , and Jeremy Dutcher on the lineup poster. The chance for those artists to get out there and spread their messages and their music is awesome and we're happy for them.
With 100 acts across multiple genres, generations, styles and sensibilities, there's gotta be something for you on this list. If you love live music, there's going to be a day/night that you want to be in Ottawa at RBC Bluesfest. And we don't blame you one single little bit.
A one-day pre-sale for Bluesfest tickets goes Wednesday, February 19 from 10 AM to 11:59:59 PM - so be ready for that. There are no codes or invites or special hoops to jump through. Just load ottawabluesfest.ca and get your tix. It's first-come, first-served, so don't wait too late in the day.
