I'm starting to feel under the weather which is really bumming me out. And the weather here has been crappy, yesterday was another day in the 40s with rain. Ugh. Sounds like today might make it into the 50s, hopefully the rain will stay away for my son and friends to get their paintball in.
So far I've had a great week on the eating front, at least in my opinion. This is my umpteenth attempt at earning a #7daychip from Brad Gansberg and I've completed Day Five. Today shouldn't be a problem being that it's a Saturday and I'll be going grocery shopping, but Sunday, which will be the day I need to complete to get that chip, is Easter at my parents, and that spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E.
But I'll worry about that tomorrow.
Here's what I had to eat on Friday:

I forgot to bring a banana for a snack and I ended up being too busy at work to think about food until lunch, which was good. But I also had to eat lunch in the cafe because I neglected to pack my own. I was planning to have a Chef salad but they didn't have any made up since they were planning to shut down early for Good Friday, so I ended up going with an Egg Salad wrap with a side salad. I've finally wised up and asked them to put the dressing on the side – in the past I'll say "just a little dressing" and they will dump a half cup of dressing on to a small side salad. That would be gross even if I wasn't trying to watch my calories.
I didn't prepare very well for this day as I also neglected to bring an afternoon snack, but once again I was busy all afternoon so really didn't notice. I had some olives when I got home.
Dinner was a big salad of baby arugula, sliced yellow and orange peppers, green onions, tomatoes and about a half cup of cheddar goldfish. Poppyseed dressing.
For the fourth night in a row, I had an Odell IPA (A- on the Beer Advocate) that I forgot to snap a picture of. I've really got to remember to do that. I don't normally drink my calories but when I do I should include it here. I must have this mental block against taking a picture of my beer, I've got to get over that.
Over at Fatbloggers I wrote about my new weight loss strategy – only eating 75% of what's put in front of me. So far after five days it's actually pretty surprising to see everything I didn't eat which I normally would have.
