Ratchet & Clank PS4 and the film will both release in 2016.
In a post on the PlayStation Blog, developer Insomniac Games said it is hard at work on the new game, which is now expected in northern spring 2016.
“While you might have to wait a bit longer than expected, rest assured we’re using the time wisely to further polish the game to a spit-shine level, ” chief brand officer Ryan Shneider wrote.
“With dazzling shader response, awe-inspiring effects, velvety smooth animations, and spectacular new gameplay segments. Really, we can’t wait to show it to you.”
Insomniac promised further updates on the game throughout the year ahead.
