After the resounding success of Simmba, maverick actor Ranveer Singh's next is Gully Boy which is directed by Zoya Akhtar.
Gully Boy is a musical drama feature film. Ranveer will be seen pairing for the first in big screen with Alia Bhatt. The film also stars Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Raaz, Nakul Sahdev, Brian Nathan in pivotal roles. The film is based in the lives of Mumbai rappers, Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy. Divine and Naezy are known for their songs like "Mere Gully Mein", "Jungli Sher", and "Aafat" to name a few. Gully Boy is being co-produced by Zoya Akhtar's Tiger Baby and Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment productions. Gully Boy is scheduled to release on 14 February 2019.
