Rambling Aka Blog Vomit

It's only Wednesday and I'm already going a little bit CRAY spending most of my time in my apartment cooped up while I recover from surgery. I'm tired of wearing t-shirts & stretchy shorts and not doing my hair & makeup. BUT I know that it'll be worth it in the end! Stitches come out Monday so I just have to hang in there until then. Plus, after my appointment, Adam & I are going on a shopping spree to find things that fit the new girls ;)
It's funny because I have so much stuff that I could be getting done for Glisten during this downtime, but I just haven't been in the zone to work on it...it makes me sad to see it all since I know that I can't really workout right now. But today I think I'm gonna suck it up and plan my little heart out. Wish me luck!
I guess I should probably go ahead and find a point to this post, huh? Well I mentioned Monday that Adam is moving this month, and I'm so excited to help decorate the new place! I've scoured Pinterest for ideas that mesh together both of our styles. I like the terms rustic & chic. We love earthy feeling spaces...lots of wood and neutral/clean colors.
I'll be moving in with him in October...that's when my lease is up at my apartment. We went and looked at a house yesterday and we both fell IN LOVE. It's called a "treehouse" and it's right on a river. It's perfect for us. Lots of fun outside space, a huge deck, and um hello IT'S ON THE RIVER. We're excited to take this next step in our relationship, too. Adam is gonna be doing a lot with Glisten...pretty much all the recording/editing of the videos so it'll be awesome to have this place to do that. He wants me to work less where we work now (we work together at an A/C company) so that I can focus more on Glisten! I'm excited about that :)
