Quinny Buzz Stroller Review
As previously mentioned in another POST originally we had a Graco Alano Flip Travel System but I hated it so I sold it and bought a Quinny Buzz Stroller. After much online research I was determined to get one because it was my dream stroller... I searched online classified ads for a used Quinny Buzz because they retail for $500+. I was not having much luck but one day I got a reply from someone telling me The Bay had them on clearance for $200!! I called The Bay immediately an asked to place one on hold until my Fiance was off work and we could go buy it. I asked the lady how much it would be and she told me $211!! When we got there and they rang up the stroller it was over $350 dollars!! I said no I was given a different price on the phone if I knew it was that much we would not have driven across town to buy it because I don't have that much money budgeted for the stroller. The clerk got the lady I spoke to on the phone and she basically called me a liar but I am 100 % sure the price she told me because I wrote it down. After arguing I got my way only having to pay $222 tax in for our brand NEW Quinny Buzz Stroller :) The sales slip reads Total Purchase Savings $188 :) I was very prod of my self for standing my ground with the sales lady. The clerk was very understanding that with a baby you need all the extra money you can save.
Quinny Buzz Stroller ReviewNow on to the actual review! Our Quinny Buzz Stroller is Red & Orange (I guess they call the color "Juice") because it was the last one on clearance I did not have the chance to chose a color... and at first I was not sure I really liked the Red & Orange but it has grown on me and I think its a beautiful vibrant stroller and Baby F loves it. The assembly was pretty easy, I did need some assistance from my Fiance. The Quinny Buzz Stroller is very easy to steer with only one hand the big air tires on the back make it a very smooth ride and very easy to pop up over curbs. I find it is faster to walk with this stroller than walking with my Graco Alano Stroller because the Graco had small plastic wheels that would catch on every bump in the side walk...it felt more like the wheels were dragging along but with the Quinny Buzz the wheels glide across the side walk effortlessly! The break system is simple there is an on break on the side of one back wheel and an off break on other side so no need to press both sides just one quick click and the stroller locks in place and another quick click and it unlocks.
The handle bar has a height adjustment you just push it in on both sides and pull up. The stroller seat is memory foam which makes it very comfortable for Baby F it also has a removable cover that makes washing easy. The straps are adjustable but a little on the long side...Baby F is a tiny boy but for the average baby I am sure it would not be much of an issue. The seat is adjustable you can have it facing you or facing the world...but you do have to take the seat off and turn it around, and I have never attempted to do this while Baby F is in the seat. The stroller comes with a plastic weather shield that I have used quite a few times on freezing cold days and in the snow, it is very easy to put on and remove. In addition to the weather shield it also comes with a bug net that I have not had the chance to use yet, but it will be very useful in the summer. The sun shade is height adjustable which is nice and it has a small  flap on the top so you can lift it to peek in and check on baby! There is NO tray or cup holders on this stroller and I was concerned about this but I have read that most European strollers are made this way. There is a shallow basket on the bottom to store a few items...I can fit my diaper bag in there or a couple light shopping bags.
Quinny Buzz Stroller ReviewOne of the features that sold me on this stroller was the one hand pop open feature. To fold the stroller down you have to press in buttons on both sides and push down and to open it you just have to side a clip over and it pretty much unfolds itself!! The Quinny Buzz Stroller fits in the trunk of our Mazda 3 Sport with a tiny bit of room to spare...for smaller cars the wheels are quick release so they are very easy to remove making getting the stroller into a small trunk easier. I will also mention that Quinny sells a few accessories for this stroller including an infant car seat that is compatible but I did not purchase any accessories so I will not be writing reviews on them. You can check them out here http://www.quinny.com/gb-en/products/strollers/buzz-3#accessoiries.
The feature this stroller lacks is storage so I have purchased some stroller accessories to make it work better for us. I have purchased the Jolly Jumper Stroller Caddy it attaches to the handle so that gives me 2 cup holders and a zippered pouch. I also purchased 2 handle bar hooks that just Velcro on to the handle bar so I can hang shopping bags, my purse or even the diaper bag from the handle. I will be writing a review on the Jolly Jumper Stroller Caddy in the future.
Overall the Quinny Buzz Stroller is amazing! Truly my dream stroller!! - Earth Sea Mama
